Full Moon Meditation for Healing and Peace

Next Full Moon Meditation is Thursday July 26.

Join us on Thursday June 28 for a very special Kundalini Yoga class at 7:15 pm followed by a donation 31-minute Meditation for healing and peace.

To put it bluntly, our country is a mess right now, and as Kundalini Yogis, we MUST rise to the challenge of doing what we can to create change. Immigrants are being persecuted and their children taken from them; desperate refugees are being turned away at the border; racial tensions are as high as they have been in decades; and state-sponsored violence is tearing communities apart.  This is not ok!

This is a time when we must recommit to BEING the change, to taking action to alleviate suffering, and to doing what we can to make the world a better place for ALL inhabitants, human and non-human alike.

As yogis, we have the tools to reach out to others and help uplift them so we all can begin to take concrete action, collectively. Yoga and meditation themselves will not create the change we need, but it will open us to the human experience and hopefully empower us to do what needs to be done.

Join us for a special 31-minute Full Moon Meditation for Healing and Peace on Thursday, June 28 at 8:30 pm, immediately following the 7:15 pm Kundalini class.  We’ll come together as a community and raise our vibratory frequency during a beautiful 31 minute meditation. As we chant for peace, we send out energy that we hope will elevate others. In this way, person by person, we can begin to create change.

Please invite friends.  This is a free event and no yoga or meditation experience is necessary. We encourage you to join us at 7:15 pm for our regularly-scheduled Kundalini Yoga class, but if you can’t make it, the doors will open at 8:25 pm for you to come on in for the meditation.

Open to all. Donations will go to RAICES, an organization working to provide legal aid to immigrant and refugee adults and children.

Register online.

Can’t make it to class? We’re accepting online donations to support the advocacy work that RAICES is doing. Next time you purchase a class card, just top it up or add a few dollars of support.
