Dear Lighthouse Community,

I’d like to thank you all for sticking with us through our big changes in 2018, as we downsized from our space on 9th Street to our “pop-up” locations in Petworth and elsewhere. We’re so fortunate that our friends at Teatro de la Luna were able to step in and help us continue to serve our community, and many thanks to both UP Yoga and Wellness and Dragon’s Breath Yoga for giving us weekend space.

Because of this support, we’re in the process of making some big changes, which will be rolling out in 2019.

First of all, we’re bringing on some new teachers. You’ll start seeing new faces as early as this week, when Nandi and Audrey take over our Kundalini Sunrise classes. Suzanne is joining as a Kundalini sub, and we have a few new Hatha teachers coming on board soon.

Next, we’re updating the website and changing our check-in system. You’ll receive plenty of information on our new system before we go live, so stay tuned.

We’re adding some new trainings for 2019, including a Kundalini Immersion program and a weekend training with Sada Sat Kaur on Mantra.

Finally – saving the best for the last – we’ll be moving into a new permanent location in spring. Details will be available soon, but we promise you that you’re going to LOVE the new space. With almost double the capacity of the old studio, we’ll be adding classes and workshops, and we’re going to ramp up our community connections.

So we hope you’ll continue to support us through our changes. And keep an eye on our newsletters, our Facebook page, and our Instagram for breaking news!

Have a wonderful New Year and we’ll see you on the mat.

You are a lighthouse, so no one can wreck near you. That is the one thing in life you have to do. Spread the light. Be the lighthouse. So every journey, every destiny, every distance will be safe.
