Hands On Adjustments with Liz Butler

For many yoga students, “hands on” adjustments help get us more safely into deeper postures. Just a little movement of the hip can change the experience of a twist, or a small change in the thigh position can make your downward facing dog longer and taller. Combined with precise verbal cues, hands-on assists are sometimes provided to enhance awareness and understanding of and comfort with asana.

Join Liz Butler for this special workshop to explore various techniques to safely and effectively offer hands-on assists and adjustments.  The workshop will teach some basic assisting and adjusting techniques and tools to help yoga practitioners access greater awareness and align with more ease and understanding. Participants will learn and practice different assists/adjustments and when, why and how to use them.

Liz’s students unanimously claim that she provides the best hands-on adjustments they’ve ever experienced. This is your chance to learn some of her tricks!

This workshop is open to all levels, including prenatal students.
Yoga instructors can earn 2 hours of continuing education credit – please notify us if you will want a CEU certificate.
