All too often we eat “healthy foods” that are wreaking havoc on our bodies, but there is a simple solution – a vegetarian lifestyle. You can leave the confusion, diet books and deprivation behind. This workshop will show you the foods that my be ruining your health and happiness and which foods will fuel your body in a safe, effective way. You’ll learn how to nourish yourself with the right protein, whether you want to become a vegetarian or vegan or just cut back on the amount of animal protein you’re eating. Learn new healthy habits that will leave you feeling great from your cells to your soul!

About Christie:

After turning 40, my health started to deteriorate rapidly. I wasn’t myself anymore. Menopause made an early arrival and nearly took me down. But I wasn’t about to give up.
I was looking for more than a quick fix or a diet book. I wanted to make lifelong changes. This happened for me when I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City in 2007. I was always interested in health but when I graduated as a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, my passion was unstoppable. I was able to help hundreds of people take small steps towards lifelong sustainable changes, just like I did. And the thirst for knowledge continued. I’ve also been trained as a Functional Nutrition Practitioner, Hormone Cure Coach, and a Certified Fermentationist.
Today I am healthier than ever after tweaking my diet and lifestyle. I am a devoted leader and inspiration for women (and men too) who want better health from the inside out, at any age. You’ll likely find me with a green smoothie in hand, geeking out about nutrition at any given moment.
