Saturday April 25, noon to 1:30 pm.
Bring your own lunch to Zoom and get set to dive into a community discussion.
For April, we’ll be reading and discussing the book “Revolution of the Soul: Awaken to Love Through Raw Truth, Radical Healing, and Conscious Action” by Seane Corn. (See below for info on accompanying podcast!)
Seane is a long-time yoga teacher, healer, and activist who wrote this powerful memoir sprinkled with good doses of yoga philosophy. Seane gives us the ability to understand and survive current times through both our yoga practice and other internal work.
Physical distancing and the Coronavirus allow us more time for introspection and priority-setting. This book is a must-read for anyone looking to pave a path forward that includes a commitment to social justice and social change.
The book is available on Amazon, Audible (read by Seane herself!), Kindle or can be ordered through our local bookstore, Loyalty Books.
It’s a fast, engrossing read – don’t put this one off!
Free and open to all. Register online and Zoom link will be sent prior to the event.
Leader: Suzanne Henley
Don’t have the time/energy to read the book or want to go deeper? You’ll pick up many of the highlights on this podcast interview with Seane. In this interview, Seane shares some back-stories as well as explains how the book came to be. Don’t miss it!
