We all have those things “on our list.” That email you never responded to. The research that will get you closer to a goal. Writing the letter to someone in your life so you can get it off your chest.

Cleaning out your basement or closet. Redoing your resume. Organizing your damn photos.
We tell ourselves we don’t have time. Other things are more important. I’m just too tired. I’ll do it someday. But the procrastination persists.

Sound familiar?

Especially while we are all staying home during the pandemic, we may feel extra pressure to be productive; we may also feel more stuck than ever. During such an unprecedented time, it’s hard to find the balance between the expectations we place upon ourselves and the self-care we so desperately need. We may have all this “extra time on our hands” and be beating ourself up for not using it.

When we are stuck, what’s usually happening is that there is something unresolved inside ourself. There is a blockage – in thought, mindset, or energy body – that needs to be released so that the resistance can abate and the energy can flow. Only when energy is flowing, and we confront the blockages inside, can we transition out of stress response and into the higher state of consciousness that is our true, best self.

How to Move Forward?

The Summer Solstice is a great time to recommit to yourself. Bring a journal, a yoga mat, and 3 matters of unfinished business that you are ready — or want to become ready — to confront. We’ll meet online for some discussion, guided meditation, and breath work to unwind the tension we hold around our hard stuff so that we can move forward in grace. Oh – and you’ll have the loving support of your peers too. Let get unstuck.

Open to all. No yoga experience needed.
