A Self-Care Workshop with Lauren Cavanagh and Torrey Ross

Saturday June 8, 2-4 pm

How to have a Great Day is a 2-hour workshop facilitated by Life Coach, Torrey Ross and Personal Trainer/Health Coach, Lauren Cavanagh. In this class, we will focus on how we can optimize each portion of our daily lives to ensure we stay positive and efficient, and don’t get dragged down by the little stressors that can get in the way. Through a series of fun activities and interactive discussions, we share both big picture ideas and practical tips to give you the resources you need to ensure you can live your best life every day.
This workshop will touch on a number of topics, including:
  • Becoming aware of your thoughts, feelings and actions
  • How to find gratitude
  • How to prioritize your to-do list
  • How to turn your negative thoughts into positive ones
  • Eating right during the day and staying active
  • Most importantly: How to implement the things you learn!

Activities will include discussion, group reflection, guided meditations, and light movement. This workshop is suitable for all fitness levels and does not require any prior movement experience.

The goal of this class is that participants come away feeling empowered to take control of their thoughts, feelings and actions in order to create their ideal day and overcome any obstacles that may challenge your ability to move forward.

Snacks and (nonalcoholic) drinks will be provided.
