Join LYC owner, teacher and teacher trainer Julie (Jiwan Shakti Kaur) for a special 2-hour Kundalini Yoga workshop to release stress and build resiliency.
When we experience individual or collective stress or trauma, these emotions are felt in our bodies. If not managed properly, “stuck” emotions can create ongoing physical and mental distress, which may manifest as illness, discomfort, or undesirable actions, for example. The physical tension we feel shuts down our immune systems and makes us more susceptible to disease.
The practice of Kundalini Yoga helps us release stuck emotions and memories, to clear our paths forward to living a life filled with love, joy and hopefulness. Through physical asanas (postures), we move this energy and release it, and through meditation we connect with our universal connectivity – “oneness” that transcends physical, spiritual and mental boundaries.
In this 2-hour workshop, expect some silent introspection, vigorous movement, and a powerful group meditation. The class will not be available for replay.
Open to all – no Kundalini Yoga experience required.
