This Sparking Transformation six-week series will provide a gentle and powerful healing space for women who have experienced sexual assault and abuse. This is a place for you to feel safe and secure as you move forward in your healing journey.
Led by survivor and teacher Halli Jastaran Faulkner, this series will use the tools of movement, breath, and meditation to help you tap into your own healing power and create the transformation you want in your life.
Woman Warrior series welcomes all women who have experienced sexual trauma. Everyone who identifies as a woman is welcome – we find strength in coming together as a diverse group of survivors. No yoga/meditation experience is necessary – all that is necessary is an open heart.

Each week’s class will include yoga movement and meditation that starts with a gentle warmup before increasing your heart-rate with some deeper movement, and then allowing for rest, relaxation and group meditation. Some of this meditation will be silent, and some will use chanting or mantra. Halli will occasionally play live harmonium music with chanting. Each class builds on the previous week – workshop themes include grounding, centering, pleasure, prosperity, abundance, deservedness, and joy! We will use affirmation, partner exercises, and some optional group sharing to help us heal in community.
During Woman Warrior workshops, the most important thing is that you feel empowered to be in control of your body and your space. About the Instructor
Halli Jastaran Faulkner teaches healing yoga workshops for women who have experienced sexual assault and abuse.
As a survivor herself, Halli has spent the last seven years studying how to use the tools of movement, breath, and mantra to help herself heal. Her Woman Warrior workshops use these same tools to create a safe space where students tap into their own innate healing power.
Halli first learned about yoga in her high school gym class in upstate New York and has been practicing and learning ever since.
In 2014, Halli moved to Los Angeles and was first trained in Kundalini yoga by Krishna Kaur and then trained in trauma-informed yoga by Kyra Haglund. She then started creating Woman Warrior workshops for survivors while going deep into her own process of healing from sexual trauma and post-traumatic stress.
Halli is honored to have taught Woman Warrior workshops for sexual assault survivors in cities including Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Rochester, New York. And she’s grateful to spend her down time at home with her beautiful wife and their baby daughter.
